Come on wind. Come on rain. Come on cold. With the weather having been unseasonably warm – there has been scant opportunity for us to crack open our winter wardrobe goodies. But we have managed to get a bit busy with it and thought we should share some of our great new season finds. To the streets we go…
Bedtime. My favourite time of day. Actually scratch that. My favourite time of day is when they are asleep. B.L.I.S.S.
But apart from usual delaying tactics/drama ‘Mummy I’m scared’ ; ‘Mummy, I need Sudocream on my bottom’ ; ‘Mummy, how long is it till morning’…the other issue I have with bedtime is its general lack of style.
And being a Kid Style Junkie, style is important at any time. So how happy was I to discover Atticus & Gilda.
So my girls’ winter wardrobe is now well and truly finished and well and truly better than mine. As is their hair. But hey who’s complaining. So we had a party to go to and me loves a dress up opportunity. Here’s what we wore…
Mirror Mirror on the Wall..
Minnie wears F.A.V.E. brand of mine Wovenplay – headband, tights and dress – available from Orfeo Design.
I like to mix up a smart dress with sneakers – makes the outfit less predictably ‘sweet’. Glittery Converse from J Crew old old old – sorry! They still have similar and yay – they are opening up their first UK store this Friday – 165 Regent Street. Get extremely busy.
Roxie wears dress and tights by Rykiel Enfant from Childsplay Clothing. Shoes by Feiyue collaboration with Milk on the Rocks NYC from My Little Square.
I love my outfit THIS much....
Not that I have no life or anything but I tried to coordinate her hair bobbles to the stripes in the tights. The hairstyle is very easy and looks YAY. Make bunches and then tie bobbles at equal intervals down the bunch.
And there you have it – a great party look – even if I say so myself. Which of course…I will…;o)
I recently came across a fab new brand called Kids a Gogo (great name no?) from the US (of-blooming-course!). They do F.A.B. clothes, toys and accessories for girls, boys and babies 0-8 years. So I got busy on their site (they ship internationally) and here are my girls looking mighty fine (of course I’m going to say so myself) in their things…
Roxie makes her feelings clear for these clothes....
Minnie wears Amor Top $34.95.
Roxie wears their Jade dress $59.95. And she wears it, and wears it, and wears it. It has become her summer 2013 staple.
So there you have it. Posey little twinnies, and fun, classic-with-a-twist, highly wearable clothes. I’m liking their style. Get busy at Kidsagogo.
If you think M&S is all about food – you is WRONG! I have long been banging on about it! Check what I bought my girls this weekend (that of course they had to wear IMMEDIATELY!!!) from their AW13 line.
Minnie wears Autograph flock spotted dress £16-18 and Roxie wears Autograph geometric Peter Pan collar dress £16-18 both from good old M&S. Get Percy busy!
