Darlings – I have a new way to bring you more more MORE! Every so often – let’s take a peek inside the closets of the loin-fruits of the über stylish. What do THEY wear? How do THEY accessorise? What’s new? What’s old? Oh I do so LOVE a good old NOSE!!
We beginneth today. With the super-duper-cuter Sienna Carew. 3 year old offspring of the fabulous Krystle Amoo who is the agent for brands that frankly make me want to collapse – like Quenotte, ESP No.1, Nico Nico, Wovenplay – pass me the oxygen….and let’s begin..
So, a few weeks back, we had a photo-shoot with the fabulously talented Julia Boggio. Photographer, Blogger and Mother extraordinaire. She makes me sick! Her photo credit list reads like a who’s who – topped by no less than the Queen at her Jubilee Celebrations. She has shot 30 magazine covers, countless beautiful families, and now…..me. And my stinky little twins. Here is what she did magic’d with us….
Rrrrr...for RoxieMmmmmm for Minnie
I had told Julia how well behaved my girls were as they were used to posing for my writing. As the words fell out my mouth, so the pinching, moaning and general naughtiness unfolded. Was rather embarrassing. But Julia being the pro she is, sent me off and somehow got the very best out of the girls.

The kids….are not for sale – well, not today anyway….

I’ve had a FASHION ORGASM. I’m basking in the afterglow. And here’s why…
Oh my word - how divine is this?!
These beauties are part of a five year collaborative project between H&M and UNICEF called All for Children. The aim is protect kids rights in cotton producing areas of Tamil Nadu India, one of the country’s largest cotton-producing states, and give them access to education. Funds are raised via 25% of the sales price of each item being put back into the project.
The collection has been created around an illustrated book Daisy & Leon, which will be sold as part of the collection. The line includes both smart and casual pieces (and PIECES they are let me tell ya!) for boys and girls aged 1-8 years, and is complemented by accessories and home interiors. Check it…

The range will be sold though selected H&M stores and online from Thursday 18th October. BUT the big big news is that the FAAAAAAHBULOUS Little Fashion Gallery (one of my shopping pets) is the only retailer outside of H&M to carry the full collection. Marie Soudre-Richard, LFG’s founder says that H&M “..felt as a business, LFG has a reputation for trendsetting and that we would be an ideal brand to partner with them on this project.”
I want the lot. And I want it NOW! And what a fabulously worthy reason to justify my spend!
So as I walked into Bubble London back in June, a dress on their Homegrown display at the entrance caught my eye. And that was by CYD&EMMA. It was like time travelling. It captured the very essence of what I loved about the US kids brands I used to sell. It was fun, different and quirky.
So I gots myself a couple of dresses from them, and some rather willing models. Check it…Minnie wears African Princess Pinafore Dress £35 from Cyd & Emma.
Minnie prayed to the Lord of style for a great dress and he answered!
Oh Rox so so fancied herself in this Hoola Girls on Purple Pinafore Dress £35 from Cyd & Emma.
Roxie's dancing for joy at this dress!
The dresses are fun in that with these funky fabrics they have traditional styling – like a pinafore. And and and, are finished off with a button shaped like a handbag. Oh the details! LOVE!
Let's throw some shapes....
I’m rather partial to irreverent fabric patterns and this brand has them in spades. My FAVE is a camouflage that on close inspection is silhouettes of naked ladies (erm..modelled on my own figure….)
Not one for the real Forces...
Cyd&Emma cater for boys and girls aged 9 months to 6 years with a line that includes tunic sets, dresses and shirts. And finally, finally their website is open for business. Get super busy! Cyd & Emma.
