Exclusive Annabel Karmel Video Interview Part 1

So, the incredible woman that I have video interviewed for you today, needs no introduction to you whatsoever if you are a mother.

She has been every mother’s Fairy Foodmother, giving us guidance to take us through what the hell we should feed those teeny tiny humans we brought on to this earth wailing, so they could grow and grow.

And hopefully, if you are lucky, get them to eat and try a wide variety of home cooked, easy to prepare meals. Annabel Karmel MBE.


Annabel is a mother to 3 grown up children who very sadly list her first child Natasha when she was only 3 months old. Her son Nicholas was born within a year of this tragic loss and was a very fussy eater. And as a mother who had lost a child – you can imagine how stressful that must have been for her. Annabel started making up recipes in a hope to get her son eating, which worked, and so she shared them with the mothers of her Baby and Toddler Group. And the rest is history. Well, kind of.

Now if you think about feeding your child – there’s only one name that springs to mind. Food a**hole. Well, at least that’s the name that sprung to mind when feeding my kids as babies. They were impossible. NO mummy NO. Ugh. Spit. Retch. It was P.A.I.N.F.U.L!
