Oh I love my job. I get to see amazing things. I get to write. I get to chat. And I get to meet lots of great people. One of my faves is Julia Koorn. Her agency, Cherry Pick for Kids represents some of my favourite fashion and home brands – including Bang Bang Copenhagen and Lucky Boy Sunday.
Not only that – she’s a clever little writer too. And today – she has written us a guest post about this weekend’s upcoming London Design Festival. Check it…
That’s right, while we mamas have had our heads down and focused on back to school, it’s a new term for the fashion and design world too. The London Design Festival starts this weekend, 10 days when the city comes to life with London Fashion Week, design-related events, exhibitions – all things and people from Planet Fabulous!
Wow! In my dreams, I’m putting on my Louboutins and I’m so there! But as I’ve got little people in my life, are there any child-friendly design events?
Get to the V&A’s Museum of Childhood this Saturday 14 September 12-4pm to take part in fun family workshops for all ages on the theme of design for and inspired by children. You can meet many of KSJ’s favourite designers such as Corby Tindersticks, Miller Goodman and Donna Wilson who will be there to teach you and your offspring to design and make lovely things.
