Now anyone that knows me, knows that can be total fuss-pot nightmare. And NEVER more so than when it comes to my kids’ birthday parties. It’s just so sad. I’m just SO SAD. But I HAVE to have it JUST so. After all, I am a bleedin’ kids style blogger! This year – we did a disco by Angelo Star DJ.
Minnie wore dress by Wovenplay (bought in the US – cannot find it here sorry!) try this £145 Couverture and the Garbstore, headband by Wovenplay £35 Couverture and the Garbstore. Knee-high socks (oh I LOVE knee-high socks for kids!) by Boden and Hummel shoes (last season darlings..) these are similar by Kidsen £43.99. Crazy sunglasses (they insisted on wearing throughout!!! )are from Bonton’s brilliant Bazaar.
Roxie wore vest, skirt and headband by Wovenplay. In my top three brands EVER. Oh how I love it’s fashion-forward playfulness. Genius! Knee high socks (last season) by J Crew. High tops by Feiyue €50.
And thanks to the brilliant folks at Mini Melt Events – this is what they ate – which for kids was just the drug to get the party started!
We had candy floss..
And an ice-cream sundae bar…
All the lovely signage was made by the brilliant Elisa at Fabulous Party Designs. Such brilliant value for customised print-ables like these.
Every year, we ask for donations to Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity in lieu of gifts and this year we raised over £1,000 – AND, we didn’t have to go home with a whole STACK of unwanted TUT! Win win WIN!
On the subject of going home – this what the kids got..handmade and hand sourced by me – the saddo. Supafly sunglasses, sherbet baby bottles, popping candy and a funky pen. I used Ali Express for the sourcing of the bigger items and I highly recommend it for kids party gifts. It sources amazing things direct from the factories they are produced so they are heavily discounted.
So, there you go guys, a big big OTT shindig. No pressure then for next year’s do……
