George(ous) at Asda!

I’ve been to the Asda SS13 Press Day. Now now now, there’s value and there’s value and there’s Asda. I could CRY at some of the prices. And some seriously nice pieces they had too. Check it…

These baby shoes make my womb ache. Sweeeeeeet! And £4. £4? You can buy a magazine for that with a piece of plastic tut! Such value!

Geek Chic! I love this older girls GEEK tee and am definitely going to get one for myself £9/10.

The print and ruffle neck detail of this dress look like Livly Stockholm. But at £8/9 costs the same as a pair of socks in there! LOVE! (But – I would change the belt – maybe replace with wide black ribbon).

This black and nude polka dot dress is I can’t explain how lovely! I’m soooo buying it for my girls. Looks super designer but costs £10-12. C’mon!

This older girls camo light jacket is such a piece. Complete with diamantes on the pockets. Sling on over a tee, team with shorts (OK try to remember summer…), sandals – BOOM – a great look. Price TBA.

This baby girl beige mac with neon Minnie Mouse on is so cute! I’m not into character clothing generally (apart from my Hello Kitty compulsion) but this works as it’s a classic shape and colour, with a twist.

Now to the boys. I LOVE these linen sand-boots. So cool. Price TBA.

Cool nautical with a twist theme to this boys sweat. £7!!!

Staying with the nautical theme, this jacket would not look out of place on the rails of Petit Bateau at several times the price! £16-18.

This track jacket is a bit club, a bit edge and a lot value!

I caught up with Nicola Low the Head of Design for Asda (BIG cheese!). She gave me a lil SCOOP for you! She said that on the back of the their very successul Graduate Fashion Week the graduates have also designed a line for kids that will be in-store in March 2013. I shall be ALL OVER IT like some kind of horrible spreading RASH!

So there you go peeps – feeding your habit needn’t cost the earth.
