  • Willing little helpers

Do this:

Add a little water bit by bit and stir to achieve a spread-ably sticky icing paste. If you add too much and the icing is runny – add some more icing sugar to thicken.

If you are using different colours – split the icing paste into a few bowls.

To add colour to the icing take a cocktail stick/toothpick and dip the tip of it into the coloured gel. The gel is very strong so you really do not need a lot! Wipe the colour from the toothpick into the bowl with the icing paste, and mix with a fork to even out the colour.

Now – depending on what cookies you are using – either dip the cookie into the icing paste or spread icing paste onto the cookie. And whilst it’s wet, add sprinkles/sweets. We had a little production line going…
