I love a bit of brand spotting. I love a stylish kids room. So I am loving the simplicity of this amazing kids furniture brand Studio delle Alpi. Created by Anne Kieffer, a product designer and Arnaud Mouriamé, a graphic designer. They both share the same passion for wood, simplicity and amusing things.
Even though I know full well that neither of my kids are ever going to make it in the art world, I have still kept tons and tons of their art work from as soon as they could pick up a pen. I have pages of scribbles, clay models (if you can call them that), colouring in, paintings, collages blah blah blah… you get the gist. And all of these delights are hogging up storage space in my loft.
Along comes a great new website called Doodle Nest. Your job is to edit down the entire collection of artworks to your faves and they will transform it all into either sleek framed collages…
Since I am normally a minimalist and PROUD of it, imagine my SHOCK HORROR when I found myself rooting around the kids rooms trying to extract the same TUT that I usually get VERY busy chucking or hiding at the back of a cupboard. What for…you may ask? To put on these amazing wall shelves of course…they make me want to get very busy.
