One of my twins is an obsessive fashion designer in the making. Since she was 2 years old, she’s been drawing beautiful princesses on anything and everything. With elaborate hair and dresses. She has beeen single minded since then about what she wants to be when she grows up. A fashion designer. I would prefer Doctor – save a lot more money – but it will definitely do.
Now, I don’t know about you but when I think of kid-friendly holidays I conjure up horrid images of children’s buffets, soft play pandemonium and drop-in kid’s clubs. NOT the case with the new vacation rental website from Kid & Coe …
Kid & Coe have brought together a stellar list of properties that are family homes around the world, that you can rent for your holidays. Or if you prefer and want to earn a bit of cash to splash on some fabulous kids clothes for example – you can list your very own home! This site is not good if you suffer from ‘home envy’ – I want to live in every one of their rentals. I especially love the 11th buy generic doxycycline Street penthouse in Greenwich Village, NY …
Or if you prefer closer to home check this out – Folly cottage in the Cotswolds – apparently it’s just down the road from Prince Charles… and it’s fit for our very own Princes and Princesses!
All homes are child friendly and in friendly neighbourhoods. They have even done some homework for you, as each property comes with The City Scout, a little guide put together by the property owners for their guests of where to go, what to do etc – so you can feel like a local. Now THAT you don’t get from a hotel. I feel a trip coming on! First of all to Kid & Coe and then….
Summer’s over. And just as we get ourselves back in the flow of life with kids stuffed back at school – another holiday rears it’s ugly head. Boo bloomin hoo! What to do what to do?
AH HAH! That’s where marketing can be a beaudiful thing.Check it! Unless you’ve been living in a box or in outer space – you will know that Disney Pixar released the film Brave earlier this summer. And boy was it gooood! My kids LOVED it. Particularly as it has a princess AND some naughty triplets in it (it’s a multiple/girl thing!).
So the fabulous people at the equally fabulous Gleneagles Hotel gots to thinking….hmmmm where better to experience the fantasy of the movie than at the beautiful Gleneagles Hotel? And ABRACADABRA PUFF…..they created a MYTHS AND LEGENDS BREAK. It’s the PERFECT location for an EPIC half-term adventure for the family.
Set in 850 beautiful acres of Perthshire countryside, they have put on a load of Brave montauk-monster.com/pharmacy/ultram inspired activities for the WHOLE family! Archery and Riding (the heroine Princess Merida’s favourite sports); Crafty Activities (sword-making, shield-making, tartan weaving…), Family Pass to Stirling Castle and Brave-themed Ghost hunts and treasure hunts. Oh I do love a treasure hunt. In my life – it normally involves Selfridges…
And whilst the kids are busy busy, you can MASSAGE AWAY THE SCHOOL RUN in their award-winning ESPA spa, or, if you prefer, play golf on one of their Championship Courses.
Prices (including breakfast and full use of the Club Facilities) for 2 nights in October for a family of 4 in a Sovereign Room are £700, and for 1st November through to 31st March 2013 the price is £600. Now if you amortise that cost across every minute of pure enjoyment – I’d say worth braving it!
