What We Wore

As part of a new series we’re imaginatively calling ‘What We Wore’ we take a peek at what the girls wear on a weekend. This weekend – we had Christmas. In our family for various reasons, it always comes early. And I’m never saying no to an early present!

Anyway, what better excuse to dress up the kids in all their finery? Let’s drill down…

Girls Fashion Accessories What We Wore

Let’s start with Roxie. I can’t quite cope with how much I’m loving this dress by Jasper Conran at Debenhams £22.50. It looks like Bonpoint! As a note, I always buy dresses in a size down as they tend to fit better. This dress is above the knee FYI. Boots are by Next £26.

And I did her hair like this to add a bit of va va voom to a pony tail.

And she wore our present to her. A personalised necklace from Tatty Devine £37. It takes 2 weeks from the site or if you can get to their pop-up in Selfridges, it’s whist you wait.

Poor little Minnie wasn’t very well but of course never ill enough not to dress up. Her dress is from the fantastical H&M All for Children UNICEF range H&M £40 I think it has (unsurprisingly) sold out ;0(. Socks are by Wovenplay from Orfeo Design £19 and necklace is by Tatty Devine £27. The natural pose, you can’t put a price on that…..

As I sign off this post, I hope you see that you don’t need to splash cash to be highly fash. Mix it up. The results are worth it.
