Just because Halloween is a festival of fright, doesn’t mean your kids need to look frightful. I mean, in what they wear. Looks, I’m afraid I cannot help with.
I digress. Oh yes, we all know you can buy costumes from party shops or supermarkets (do not get the clown masks though!!!!) but even the supermarkets have some faboooolously stylish pieces that work super well for any party or trick or treating. So, without further ado, here are my Top 10 pieces.
First up – Mini Miss KG Roarsome glitter skate shoes from £60.00 Selfridges.
Wolf Sweatshirt Jacket by Mini Rodini £51.00
How is this brilliant lace and gold spot headband by Acessorize £4.
Rose cape by Little Eleven Paris £50.
OK this is slightly scary but given that it’s Stella McCartney kids, it makes the grade of course. Bandit hoodie £89.95 Harrods.
A great tee from £8 by M&S for those who want to join the party but in a more montauk-monster.com/pharmacy/valium subtle way. Now I am not a fan of skulls on clothing, but given it’s Halloween, I’ll make like a vampire and suck it up.
Incy-wincy spider skirt £6.99 by H&M. How can we not?
Super Batty Tee by Tobias and the Bear £16 is great for the younger ones.
How useful is this glitter bomber jacket £12 by Nutmeg at Morrisons. Sorry, but this is in-store only. Frankly the shipping would almost cost as much as the item. But trust me it’s worth the trip.
Last but for sure not least – get freaky at floor level with these glow in the dark boys slides are a must by Gap and £19.95.
So there you have it, thanks to KSJ your kids can now go forth and horrify S.T.Y.L.I.S.H.L.Y.
