Retro Chic Double Act
So as I walked into Bubble London back in June, a dress on their Homegrown display at the entrance caught my eye. And that was by CYD&EMMA. It was like time travelling. It captured the very essence of what I loved about the US kids brands I used to sell. It was fun, different and quirky.
So I gots myself a couple of dresses from them, and some rather willing models. Check it…Minnie wears African Princess Pinafore Dress £35 from Cyd & Emma.

The dresses are fun in that with these funky fabrics they have traditional styling – like a pinafore. And and and, are finished off with a button shaped like a handbag. Oh the details! LOVE!

I’m rather partial to irreverent fabric patterns and this brand has them in spades. My FAVE is a camouflage that on close inspection is silhouettes of naked ladies (erm..modelled on my own figure….)
