Real Sushi

OK so not of the fish kind but of the cake kind. NOOOO not a fish cake or even a cake with fish flavour (ugh I’m not Heston you know….) but cupcakes that look like sushi rolls. Deelish Nom Nom! I found this recipe on the wonderful Aussie blog Rasberri Cupcakes – who is so clever – I’m jealous.

You Will Need:

Well, let’s do this the lazy way – always my preferred way – and buy a pre-measured out cupcake mix – try Sainsbury’s.

Tiny green cupcake cases try Splat Cooking - green representing seaweed bien sur.

A box of Rice Krispies which she calls Rice Bubbles.

400g White Chocolate broken/chopped up

Packet of fruity gummy sweets like- wine gums. fruit gums, gummy bears – pick out all the orange, green and yellow ones and chop into cubes of about 5mm each and if you want to, sort them into colours. You could take a risk at this point and get your kid to do this part. Risk being, 1 for the green pile, 4 stuffed in their gob…

Phew that was a brain twister! Occasionally I can be sooooo thrifty. So in that spirit I bring you my edit of key summer fashion pieces for under a tenner. Step 2wo Search for a Model for ASAP!

Here’s a half term modelling assignment – and I’m not talking about clay. Step2wo runs the childrenswear concession at Harvey Nichols – comprising clothes, shoes and accessories. Clothing brands include ilovegorgeous, Stella McCartney, and No Added Sugar and shoes – well, anyone who’s anyone – from Dior to their own line Step 2wo.

Sinitta's Gorgeous Daughter did this last year....

They are looking for a girl of around 6 years old who wears shoe size 31 and age 6 clothing. The pictures will be used on Step2wo’s website to showcase their AW12 range.

A face like an angel

Your little princess will get paid £100 for the shoot and you will be given a CD with hi-resolution images for you to send round to EVERYONE boring them with how you have made the next Cindy Crawford. Win Win.

I feel pretty, oh so pretty
